Date & Time:Saturday 5th September 9am-12pm.

Location: Kiels Mountain 4559 (near Woombye), my home - address provided after booking.

Come and spend some time with your fellow medicine makers where together we’ll harvest a fresh plant and spend time walking through the tincturing process.

We’ll cover:

  • Harvesting and preparing fresh medicinal herb to tincture

  • Fresh vs dry tincturing methods, pro’s and con’s of each

  • Making 2 herbal extracts - a fresh plant tincture and dried plant tincture

  • Working with alcohol - strengths & percentage calculations

  • Equipment required for the home herbalist

  • General tips, techniques and troubleshooting from an experienced medicine maker

All equipment and herbal materials provided, and each attendee will take home a comprehensive instruction booklet and their own fresh and dried plant tinctures to strain and take!

Bring a pen and some snacks for yourself if you you’ll need them, we’ll provide some tea to sip on throughout.

I am your host for the workshop, Claire Murray, naturopath, herbalist, medicine maker and founder of Spirit Botanica, my apothecary.
